Wick Maintenance: To avoid excessive smoke and ensure a cleaner burn, keep the wick of your candle trimmed to approximately 1/4 inch. Allow the wick to cool before trimming to prevent burns and ensure safe maintenance.

General Candle Safety Guidelines:

Burn Candles on a Stable, Heat-Resistant Surface: Place candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials and drafts.
Never Leave Burning Candles Unattended: Always extinguish candles before leaving a room or going to sleep.
Keep Candles Away from Children and Pets: Ensure that candles are out of reach of children and pets to prevent accidents.
Avoid Walking with a Lit Candle: Do not carry a lit candle; instead, move the candle to a safe location before lighting or extinguishing it.
Avoid Burning Candles to the Bottom: To prevent heat damage to surfaces and potential fire hazards, discontinue use when 1/2 inch of wax remains.
Limit Burn Time: Do not burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow the candle to cool completely before relighting.
Allow Candle to Cool Before Replacing Lid: Ensure the candle is completely cool before placing the lid back on the jar to prevent potential hazards and maintain the quality of the candle.

General Wax Melt Safety Guidelines:

Use with a Proper Warmer: Only use wax melts in appropriate, manufacturer-recommended wax warmers.
Never Add Water to Wax Melts: Water can cause the wax to splatter and create a hazard. Follow all manufacturer instructions for use.
Do Not Overheat Wax Melts: Overheating can cause the wax to become too hot and potentially pose a burn hazard. Always follow the recommended heating times and temperatures.
Dispose of Used Wax Safely: Allow used wax to cool and solidify before disposal. Do not pour hot wax down the drain as it may cause blockages.
